TASKS FOR ETHNIC AFFAIRS, ETHNIC POLICIES IN THE CURRENT PERIOD

Abstract

Party and State always pay attention and attach importance to ethnic affairs and ethnic policies in the strategy of great national unity, on the principle of equality, respect, solidarity, mutual help for development among the community of Vietnam's ethnic groups, in which priority is given to the comprehensive development of the economy, culture, society, politics, national defense and security of the ethnic minority areas. This article presents the viewpoints, guidelines and policies of the Party and State on ethnic affairs and ethnic policies in the current period; analyze achievements in ethnic affairs and ethnic policies in the past time, thereby proposing main tasks and solutions to carry out ethnic affairs and ethnic polices in the period of 2021-2025.
