PRESERVATING AND PROMOTING THE CULTURAL HERITAGE VALUES OF THAI ETHNIC GROUP IN QUAN SON DISTRICT, THANH HOA PROVINCE IN ASSOCIATION WITH TOURISM DEVELOPMENT

Tourism-based economic development is one of the key strategies of each locality. Quan Son district (Thanh Hoa province) with more than 80% of the population is Thai, where there are many festivals and features of Thai ethnic culture. Especially, the Muong Xia festival has been recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage… Therefore, in order to develop the economy in the coming time, the preservation and promotion of the cultural heritage value of the Thai ethnic group in association with tourism development is an important task of the People's Committee of Quan Son district and all levels, branches of the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province.
