Abstract

Coming to Cao Bang Non Nuoc Geopark, visitors can explore along 03 geotourism routes with 03 different themes. One of the three tourism routes is the Eastern route with the theme “Experience indigenous culture in wonderland” - which is considered the “capital” of traditional handicraft villages, including a cluster of commune handicraft villages, including the cluster of craft villages in Phuc Sen commune as Ban paper handicraft (Dia Tren hamlet), incense making (Doan Ket hamlet) and blacksmithing (Pac Rang village). In this cluster of craft villages, the products made to be under fierce competition with industrial products flooding the market, but people are still passionate and finding ways to preserve their handicraft. It is an important factor for the authorities at all levels as well as the Management Board of Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark to choose to become a tourist attraction and experience. However, because tourism activities in the area of Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark are just beginning, the problem of exploiting the value of handicraft villages still poses many challenges, requiring the participation of many stakeholders, including people, authorities at all levels, organizations, travel agencies,…
