EXPLOITING AGRICULTURAL TOURISM CONTRIBUTES TO SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IN QUANG YEN TOWN, QUANG NINH PROVINCE

Abstract

Tourism is one of the largest and fastest growing industries in the world. In developed and developing countries, tourism is often considered an effective means for local socio-economic development. In addition, developed tourism also promotes destination images, preserve traditional cultural values, improve living standards for local communities, help the region achieve many other goals. This type of agricultural tourism has contributed to meeting the diverse needs of tourists, overcoming seasonality and increasing the value of agricultural products in Quảng Yên town, Quảng Ninh province and other localities around the country. Well exploiting this type of agricultural tourism will contribute to socio-economic development in general and local tourism in particular.
