Preserving and promoting the fine traditional cultural values of ethnic minorities is a particularly important task that determines the success of tourism development in the Viet Bac historical area. The fine traditional cultural values of ethnic minorities are a valuable tourism resource that plays an important and strategic role in attracting tourists and creating unique tourism products of the Viet Bac historical area. Along with the progress of the tourism industry in the Viet Bac historical area in recent years, this tourism resource has been and to be being strongly exploited. However, with the aim of both exploiting tourism and preserving national identity, the issue of preserving and promoting the fine traditional cultural values of ethnic minorities associated with tourism development in the Viet Bac historical area needs special attention and careful research. From there, proposing a system of appropriate solutions to preserve and promote the fine traditional cultural values of ethnic minorities associated with tourism development in the Viet Bac historical area is necessary in the current context
