FACTORS AFFECTING THE CURRENT SITUATION OF MONUMENT CONSERVATION: CASE RESEARCH AT CU CHI RELIC SITE

Abstract

Research on the Cu Chi relic site is of great importance in preserving Vietnam’s cultural and historical heritage, especially in the current context of globalization. The research focuses on analyzing factors affecting the current situation of relic conservation, including: natural factors, community awareness, funding and management policies. The results show that natural factors have a great influence on the conservation situation, while visitors’ awareness of protecting relics, funding sources and policies also play a decisive role. Policy implications include: improving management measures, raising public awareness and seeking financial support to maintain the cultural and historical value of the relic in the future
