Abstract

In the process of national construction and development, we must attach importance to the preservation of traditional cultural values because “culture is the goal and driving force for sustainable construction and development...”. The Resolution of the 5th Central Committee, term VIII of our Party, emphasized the importance of “building an advanced Vietnamese culture imbued with national identity”. Implementing that chapter, many traditional cultural values and cultural heritages of ethnic minorities are preserved and promoted; in which the customs and practices of ethnic minorities are studied, collected and restored; People’s belief, religion and spiritual activities are interested. State management of culture is strengthened, cultural institutions are gradually improved; the team doing cultural and artistic work is growing up. However, in the context of international integration and current socio-economic development, the traditional cultural values of ethnic minorities are gradually disappearing and changing, affecting the development of ethnic minorities. sustainability of the country. Therefore, we need to have basic and synchronous solutions and measures to preserve the traditional cultural values of ethnic minorities, effectively contributing to the construction and implementation of the ethnic policy in the current period.
