Abstract

Supporting the poor and poor households beyond the minimum standard of living, accessing basic social services according to the national multidimensional poverty line, improving the quality of life and contributing to the implementation of economic growth is the top goal set by the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction of our country. Poverty reduction targets are always determined in documents of the Party Congress, Resolutions and socio-economic development programs at all levels. In each socio-economic development of the country, our State always arranges and spends budget resources; mobilize domestic and foreign resources to ensure the full implementation of policies and programs to support the poor and poor areas, especially in the poor core areas, in which there are particularly difficult areas in the region as the Northern mountainous areas, the Central Highlands, the Central Coast and the Southwest. The article analyzes and evaluates the achievements, at the same time outlines some difficulties and challenges of sustainable poverty reduction in the period of 2011-2020, thereby studying strategic orientations for this work in the period of 2021-2025.
